Painting one's bathroom is the only logical thing to do when you have a whole house to clean by Saturday, not to mention decorations to make, food to prepare, etc. My bathroom has been a disgusting puke green for years now. I hated the color from the first day that I put it on the walls, but I hated painting bathrooms more, so I lived with it. All was going well until about 10:30 that night.
A small one still wasn't asleep. He was fussing and asking to sleep with Daddy in Daddy's bed. Ha. Every one has their own bed in this house. I heartlessly kept painting the bathroom. The edges were done, and I started to roll the paint on. Then the small one started to throw up.
And that, my friends, is how it came to be Thursday, and my bathroom is blue and puke green, my house is a mess, and I have just rolled out of bed myself after having the 24 flu.
Thankfully, everyone is healthy again (except for the smallest one, who has an ear infection). Let's see how much I can get done before Saturday...of course, I'll have to start by painting my bathroom...
