"I'm hungry. I want a cheeseburger," Q announces in a whiny voice.
"Okay, how about a Peanut Butter Honey sandwich?" I offer.
"NOOOOOoOooooOOO...CHEESEburger."
"Peanut Butter? Turkey Sandwich?" I promote the sandwich family with enthusiasm.
"NO. No Peanut Butter, no Turkey!....Yeah, I want da turkey baster."
A more logical person might be driven crazy by this sort of talk, but logic has never been my strong suit. I look for the turkey baster, because even though it wont satisfy hunger, sometimes there's no point in arguing with a two year old.
Sheldon has been bringing me offerings of legos and stale cheerios. Treasure from the floor!
Turkey basters, legos, stale food that the dog didn't find yet. It's the little things that make life fun and full.
