It's been a week of tears, of feeling my own fragility. The earth shakes, the waters rise, and life goes on for some of us. I don't know about tomorrow. And so, in light of life's uncertainty, I will count my blessings and embrace them. I will not waste these gifts, they too precious.


Consider what God has done: Who can straighten what he has made crooked? When times are good, Be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other..." Ecclesiastes 7:13-14

three year olds on giant pieces of farm equipment...cautious enough to buckle up first (like that would really improve the situation?!)

He has told me today that he will drive a motorcycle and a race car when he grows up. My prayer life expanded immediately.
