It's been a week of tears, of feeling my own fragility. The earth shakes, the waters rise, and life goes on for some of us. I don't know about tomorrow. And so, in light of life's uncertainty, I will count my blessings and embrace them. I will not waste these gifts, they too precious.

white ways of delight
three year olds on giant pieces of farm equipment...cautious enough to buckle up first (like that would really improve the situation?!)
He has told me today that he will drive a motorcycle and a race car when he grows up. My prayer life expanded immediately.
