So there I was, driving to get butter at the end of the day in a work car that smelled like dirty socks, moldy milk and death. It was disgusting. However, I decided to muscle through because I needed butter. Because I needed cupcakes. Because Sheldon is five now, and Preschool's love a party.
I pulled out of the driveway, turned into the setting sun and promptly went blind. The windshield was so dirty that it was impossible to see ANYTHING so I crept through the neighborhood at the same speed a slightly lame horse with no agenda.
Then I went to the car wash.
My husband called while I was in the car wash and wondered what I was doing. I screamed over the octopus (What? Don't your kids call that thing an octopus?), "I am washing your car so you don't DIE or kill anyone!"
It took him a while to figure out what I was talking about.
So tonight, as I blog for no good reason, I would like to take this opportunity to tell you to that no matter how messy your life is, or how smelly your car, or how disorganized your brain, it will be okay. You will eventually get the butter, clean the car, make cupcakes, and blog for no good reason, even if it seems hopeless at 6:30 p.m. and you are afraid for your/random bicyclist's life. Don't give up.
